The naked mole rat may look like the terrifying, skinned rat demon, but for scientists it is an essential piece of organic life. These strange creatures are, so far, the only ones to be completely immune to cancer and scientists have long searched for the reasons for this.

Recently, scientists at the University of Rochester discovered a specific gene which they think is key to the entire process of keeping the rodents healthy. Bryan Nelson writes:
Dubbed ‘p16’, the gene works by making cells “claustrophobic”, essentially keeping them from replicating when too many crowd together. Since cancer is caused by runaway cell growth, the gene acts as a fail-safe mechanism, preventing cell proliferation from cascading out of control.
Of course, this is all good and well, but how does it affect us. The researchers Vera Gorbunova and Andrei Seluanov respond: â?? if the effect of p16 can be simulated in humans, we might have a way to halt cancer before it starts.â?
Elizabeth Pennisi, at Wired.com, indicates how scientists came upon studying naked mole rats and confirming their non-cancer lives. Usually rodents only live for a few years, but naked mole rats can live for as a long as 30 years. This is interesting given that the longer creatures live the greater their chance of getting diseases. But, says Pennisi:
because naked mole rats have a unique social structure, with one queen that produces all the young for an underground colony full of helpers, they have been the subject of long-term research. Thanks to these studies, scientists know for sure that this species doesnâ??t get cancer.
Naked mole rats, therefore, live much like ants or bees, rather than most rodents. This curious social structure was sufficient to begin long study of these strange, underground and incredibly ugly creatures. The longitudinal studies allowed researchers to uncover this remarkable fact about its aging and cancer-immunity.
Ugly science
But ugly creatures arenâ??t just curing cancer, theyâ??re also curing darkness. The angler fish, the notoriously hideous and terrifying deep-sea fish with a giant jaw, has a protruding growth called an esca, which it uses as a lure. Hanging over the front of its face, the esca glows in the pitch-black of the deep ocean, acting as a lure for the fishâ??s prey.
The esca glows thanks to a symbiotic relationship with bacteria, which glow due to multiplication. This natural technology can be used in our homes, thus negating the need for electricity. Technology industry research has begun seriously investigating the possible uses and benefits of using biotechnology rather than traditional, electricity-draining technology.
What does this tell us about science
In the end, the point is the source of our advancement, our science, our future shouldnâ??t depend on how much we like the look of a creature, of how ugly the source of information or data is. Isaac Newton, for example, had a notoriously â??uglyâ? personality and was nasty to most people. Imagine we discarded the most incredible mind of the last few centuries because we didnâ??t like his dinner etiquette? Thus, sources donâ??t matter to science: evidence and the truth of its data does.
Terrence Stoker began studying the ocean thanks to his previous job promoting houses for sale Seapoint, Cape Town, South Africa. Living so close to the incredible waters of Southern Africa allowed him ample time to investigate the benefits of the incredible creatures below the waters.
Having poor TV signal can be highly frustrating and youâ??d probably be surprised by just how thoroughly it can ruin an evening.
On an average evening, trying to relax in front of the TV while the image and the sound keep breaking up can be incredibly frustrating and a surefire way to drive yourself mad â?? but when thereâ??s something you particularly want to watch and youâ??re forced to guess whatâ??s going on it can be downright depressing. And of course the signal will only ever choose to cut out just at the most crucial plot point so that youâ??re left completely clueless.
The good news though, is that most cases of poor TV signal can be fixed relatively easily. Usually there is something preventing the signal from coming through properly that can be fixed in a matter of moments â?? and if not then you can probably still strengthen your reception in other ways to counteract the problems. Read on to find out how to deal with poor signal quickly and effectively in most instances.
Check Your Cabling

In many cases, poor reception will simply come down to a loose connection, or to damaged cables. If you notice that the cable connecting your freeview box to your TV is very old and worn, then replacing this can often make all the difference. Alternatively, it could be that your cable simply isnâ??t plugged in firmly enough, in which case you can solve the problem simply by taking it out and putting it in again.
Target Pests

If the cables behind your TV are fine, then it may be the case that the cables coming from your aerial have been damaged. A common cause of this is pests â?? which can get inside your loft and chew through various important cables. To solve the problem, get the exterminators around to eliminate the problem once and for all.
Birds can also cause a problem if they are nesting in your aerial, so a simple scarecrow could even help your signal!
Cut Down Surrounding Trees
If you have lots of trees around your home, then these could easily be interfering with your TV signal â?? particularly if they are very tall or if they are blowing around a lot in the wind. To solve the problem, cut the tops of the trees off, or consider moving the aerial slightly so that itâ??s no longer being blocked.
Retune Your TV

Your signal woes arenâ??t necessarily down to your hardware at all though. Just as likely is that your TV needs a retune. Normally this can be accomplished relatively easy through your remote, so if itâ??s been a while, have a sit down and see if you can rectify the problem without clambering around on your roof.
Replace Your Equipment

Of course it could also be that your aerial is damaged, or that the freeview box youâ??re using isnâ??t very high quality. In most cases you will get what you pay for, so if you have a very cheap receiver, it might be worth spending a little bit more on a replacement in order to get a much higher quality image and enjoy your TV free of interruptions.

‘Bills & Accounts Manager – documents, travel, money & household organizer – Manilla’ by Manilla LLC is an essential life organiser where you can organise your daily life, accounts, bills and finances to make life simple and easier on yourself..
This app is a hit, with good customer reviews and a large download track record, mainly because it is linked to the Manilla system of financial tracking. Manilla’s app has had great reviews from the media, including being ‘App of the Week’ on abc News. With this app you can manage your accounts and bills in one secure place to get a complete overview of your finances. You also get notifications of when bills are almost due, or when reward points are near their expiry date.
What type of accounts can be added?
With automated access to a staggering 3,500 service providers in the U.S. there aren’t going to be many services beyond the scope of Manilla’s reach. Major banks, credit card providers, cell phone, cable and satellite companies as well as a whole host of other companies have linked up with Manilla. There are 200 utility companies, major airlines, hotels, loyalty programs, magazine and Netflix subscriptions and more included as account types. In fact, the list keeps on growing with more and more companies realising Manilla’s potential benefits. So what happens if you have a service provider that isn’t supported by Manilla? No problem as you can always put in a request to Manilla to support an account type. The Manilla system of bills, finances and account tracking has spread like wildfire when it comes to popularity.
Just think of the time saving possibilities of using this app alone. Let’s suppose you have accounts with DIRECTTV, American Express, CitiBank, Cosmopolitan, Town & Country and an Avis and Hertz loyalty program for example. What a headache that would be . . . opening mail, filing bills away in binders, punching holes in paper, buying plastic sleeves, shredding old ones and the odd letter going astray in the post. With this app, you merely have to sign up with Manilla, link the app to enable the Manilla system to pool all of your accounts into one complete overview and hey presto – no more time wasted on outdated filing systems. With the added perk of having some free space in your office where the mammoth filing cabinet once stood, creating more time to be even more effective in your work, or just giving you more time to be with your family, go for a coffee, or do something much more fun than endlessly dull filing in your life.
Document Storage
Manilla offers free online document storage where you can store documents, bills or statements. Deleting a document is easy, so you will avoid the usual tiresome shredding of paper documents. This is great because I haven’t met anyone yet in my life who actually enjoys endlessly shredding paper. This also cuts down on clutter as you can send your documents via email, download them or print them out if you need to. This way, the company and yourself can avoid ‘snail mail’ time wasting, sending documents through the post. Oh, and that ugly filing cabinet that makes your office look like a Post Office sorting office can be thrown out. No more boring filing! Yippee!
A free app? What’s the catch?
You’d think that this kind of convenient functionality to make your life a lot easier would come with a high price tag right? Well, you will be surprised to hear that this app is completely free. “But there must be a catch?” you may ask and the answer would be “No.” Here’s how it works . . . Companies spend a large amount on mail they send out to customers and waste a lot of resources and time doing so. Therefore, by using this app companies do not need to send mail out and you get a free bill manager, a win-win situation all round.
How secure is it?
On first opening this app you will be required to open a free account with Manilla, this comes with a password and two security questions, plus you will be given the option to enter a 4 digit security pin for faster log-in times. Manilla uses biometric validation and AES 256-bit encryption, in short, top-level security and protection with Manilla’s policies and security status verified and monitored by TRUSTe. You don’t have to worry about a thing as this app comes with layered high-level protection.
Manilla is owned by the Hearst Corporation, which owns more than 300 magazines worldwide, including famous names such as Good Housekeeping, Esquire, Cosmopolitan and more, plus being one of the biggest diversified communications companies in the world. So, in a nutshell, this app is backed by a very reputable and respected umbrella company.
Never miss a payment date.
Everyone at some point has missed a payment date. I even did this personally only recently when a bunch of random events in my life threw me off-track. Then there’s the usual sigh and realisation that you’ll have to pay a penalty fee. Not any more . . . With Manilla it’s almost impossible to get caught out by late payment fees as you get custom alerts by text message or by email, wherever you happen to be in the world. Remember the old way? Scribbling down dates on a calendar and putting sticky notes on the fridge, then the cat knocks the sticky notes down and you forget to check the calendar? Yeah, you know what I’m talking about right? Sound familiar? Well, no more of that nonsense as you can now move along with the times; your calendar will look less like a sketch pad and you will be able to see the true colour of your fridge under all those sticky notes.
Mission Accomplished
When I tested this app it only took me a few minutes to sign up and it’s easy to link to an account. Some accounts you will have to verify the link up at each end, such as I found with my PayPal account for example, but this is easy. And that’s the essence of this app: Manilla allows you to effortlessly group all your accounts in one secure place, cutting out all the manual time-wasting processes and getting rid of clutter and ugly piles of paper to boot. This is also an environmentally friendly app as it has no doubt already saved countless trees.
This app is not overcomplicated, it’s clearly laid out and saves you so much time!
Room to improve
I’m not going to even think about suggesting changing such a streamlined and efficient financial management tool. The system is perfect. However I’d like to suggest to the developer one idea that may further enhance this great free app. Here is my suggestion . . .
When I initially opened the app, I was immediately presented with a sign up screen to open up a free account with Manilla. I know that people who have had the patience to research what Manilla is all about will have no problem signing up with glee to such a time-saving system. However, there will be a percentage of downloaders who have downloaded the app on a vague recommendation from a friend, such as being told “Hey, have you checked out Bills & Account Manager? It’s great, download it.” Then on downloading it they may be a little freaked out with the sudden sign up screen immediately appearing if they don’t understand what Manilla is all about. Everyone’s different, some people will read the app description and check out Manilla’s website, whereas other’s will not. You know the type of people I’m talking about here, people who just can’t be bothered to read the instruction booklet when they buy an electrical product for example. Yep, I admit, I’m one of them. This may cause some people in this bracket to abandon signing up, out of confusion or scepticism as to what the Manilla system actually is, and they may be scared of a hidden payment being launched at them after they’ve signed up.
Here is my suggested solution, similar to the ‘Quick Start’ pamphlet you get along with the in-depth instruction book with electronics products, and that is to have an introductory quick start overview screen of what Manilla is and how people can be assured that it’s completely free and completely secure, with no hidden payments after they’ve signed up. An overview screen that walks people into the Manilla account creation process, which gives unsure people or individuals who are not technically minded, the confidence to sign up.
This is just a suggestion, as the app rocks and is fine as it is.
Conclusion
Bills & Accounts Manager is a completely free app and service that will save you money, time and office space by bringing all your accounts into one easily manageable group. It kind of gives you a bird’s eye view of your finances and nudges you when a payment is due. I think it’s a fantastic idea and app and everyone wins, both the customers and the companies who provide accounts. This app should receive an award or press coverage for being the number 1 green, environmentally friendly app on the App Store. Excellent idea and simple to use. Let’s face it, if you have to manage multiple accounts why wouldn’t you download this app? Only a paper shredding and filing cabinet enthusiast would be able to answer that question I think. Fantastic app and system!

A report was recently released by leading Internet marketing sites, with a wealth of information on the most popular browser software on the market.
It came as no surprise that the top 3 ranked web browsers include Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The overall reviews based on thousands of users reflected the following statistics: Google Chrome came in position #1 with an overall rating of 9.85. Mozilla Firefox was ranked #2, with an overall rating of 9.33. Internet Explorer came in at #3 with an overall rating of 9.08. Positions 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 include the following browsers:
- Opera at #4 with a rating of 9.03
- Safari at #5 with a rating of 8.70
- Maxthon at #6 with a rating of 8.03
- RockMelt at #7 with a rating of 7.38
- SeaMonkey at #8 with a rating of 6.95
- Deepnet Explorer at #9 with a rating of 6.83
- Avant at #10 with a rating of 6.58
A host of factors was included in the evaluations of these browsers including user-friendliness, cross functional compatibility, reliability, start-up time, navigation time, tab browsing, integrated search engine options, customisation, bookmarks, RSS feed, zoom, security, help & support, anti-spyware and scores of other variables. Each of the aforementioned browsers certainly commands a sizeable following â?? especially the top 3. These account for between 80% and 90% of all users on the Internet, so the functionality of these browsers is paramount.
Enhancing Browser Performance
Most of the world’s leading browsers are fully capable of surfing the World Wide Web in search of valuable, reliable and relevant information. However, the inherent limitations in these browsers has led to the development of a unique, artificial intelligence-style software named Genieo. This user-friendly, intuitive software platform is self-aware. In other words, it is able to adapt to changing user needs and preferences, without any input required on the part of the user. Genieo is 100% free to download and install and it is also completely devoid of malware, spyware or other harmful code. The brains trust behind the development of this ground-breaking code toiled for years before finally revealing their own simple, yet highly complex software. The cross functionality inherent in this software allows users on their laptops, mobile phones, and tablets to access highly personalised web browsing at the click of a button, from the comforts of anywhere. Genieo has been making a lot of noise recently, thanks to the input of technologically minded gurus, internet aficionados and critics alike. Judging by the response from a wide swath of people around the world, Genieo delivers time and again.
How Does The Software Work?
The algorithms governing the functionality of startpage are complex. Suffice it to say, the most important aspects of this software relate to what it actually does, not how it does it. Users can enjoy a newspaper-style homepage â?? known as the startpage â?? from the moment they power up their browser. All of the information on the web that is important to you is pulled from relevant sources and displayed in one place. This makes it unnecessary for you to open up multiple tabs while browsing the Internet. The annoyance, hassle and potential for your browser to crash are drastically reduced. Think of it along the lines of everything is 100% tailored to your particular browsing preferences ‘one size fits all’ with you being the only one in the changing room. Everything is geared towards the individual user. Even if your tastes and preferences change, the software automatically latches onto the changes and retrieves information that is pertinent to your requirements. The cost savings, time savings, and convenience inherent in using Genieo are immense.
What type of information is Featured?
Remember, each user has specific needs and preferences. Some people like to enjoy news feeds from financial, sports, social media sites and the like. Others want to stay abreast of their personal engagements â?? diaries, appointments, business meetings and so forth. You may have a penchant for topical interest stories, movie show times or whatever it is that interests you. All of this is possible with a quick & easy download and installation of Genieo software. It doesn’t much matter which browser you using â?? the compatibility is guaranteed. In days of old, users typically subscribe to things like RSS feeds. But the problems with this type of information dissemination process include redundancy, manual unsubscribes and general discontent on the part of the user. Fortunately, this is no longer required as Genieoâ??s startpage instantly and automatically accesses information that meets your needs.

Apple’s mobile software, iOS, has not received a major update since it’s debut in 2007. It’s obvious that the system was starting to not only look outdated, but also feel outdated. After all, 6 years in technology time is like 60 years in human time. Since the first version of iOS  came out, two new operating systems (Windows and Android) were released and upgraded over the years. Windows is becoming known for its simplicity and “flat” design, while Android on the other hand is becoming known for its flexibility.
So it’s no surprise that Apple’s stagnation has started to worry consumers and investors. This is clearly seen in Apple’s 5% stock drop after the iPhone 5 was unveiled. What’s really interesting is how Apple’s CEO decided to put the company back on track. The first thing he did was fire Scott Forstall. Forstall was the reason that iOS 6’s maps program failed so terribly. Not to mention that Forstall didn’t take blame for his mistakes in the maps software, and he was also known to have issues collaborating. With Forstall out of the way Tim Cook need to fire another long overdue thing at Apple. iOS 6.
Tim Cook is the main reason that iOS 7 looks the way it does now. The old iOS design was based on Steve Job’s love for skeuomorphism. This means that the design of apps would follow physical objects for the sake of “looking good.” That’s why the Newsstand app had wooden shelves, or Game Center had a green pool table pattern. The designers at Apple weren’t too fond of skeuomorhpic design and neither was Tim Cook:
“Itâ??s visual masturbation,” says one former senior UI designer at Apple who worked closely with Steve Jobs. “Itâ??s like the designers are flexing their muscles to show you how good of a visual rendering they can do of a physical object. Who cares?”
For iOS 7, Apple’s designers were left with the difficult task of simplifying everything. You can decide whether this simplification is good or bad yourself:
iOS 7 Springboard

The new Springboard allows you to get to the search page by simply swiping up. You can no longer get to it by swiping all the way to the left page. Also folders now have pages themselves. So you can put a whole lot more apps into them.
If you swipe up from the bottom of the screen on any app, page or even the lock-screen, a “control center” will come up. Although this is a great feature, I don’t like it too much. Primarily because the play, rewind, forward and song buffer line show up on my iPhone that has no songs on it. I don’t see why the control center can’t recognize this and just hide these song buttons.

When you open apps now there’s an animation that enlarges the app icon into the app screen. However this is kind of buggy, and as you can see in the image above, the red circle notification remains over apps for a couple of seconds after opening them.
iOS 7’s New Apps

As you can see in the screenshots above, all of the stock apps have been updated to look more “flat.” I personally think all of these new apps look like a lot of Windows/Google products. But that’s just me… At any rate this style of design isn’t revolutionary or first “discovered” by Apple.
When using iOS 7 I’ve had issues with the contact app, phone app and text messaging app. When I open up the phone app, the call buttons and keypad all flash weird color tones. I’m not sure if it was designed to do this or not, but either way it doesn’t look good.
Also the text messaging app and contact app often overlay layers or text in ways that looks as if something is broken. You can see an example below:

The keyboard has also been updated. But when using other apps such as Google Chrome or MapMyRun, I’ve had the iOS 6 keyboard come up. It kind of breaks the whole “iOS 7” illusion by letting you know something is not right. You also feel as if a lot of iOS 6 has just been “re-skinned” in iOS 7, instead of Apple developing iOS 7 from the ground up.
*Note* It would actually be impossible to develop software as huge as iOS 7 from “the ground up.” What I mean by this term is to start from a blank state from a design perspective. Don’t bring iOS 6 skeumorphic keyboards into an iOS 7 flat design. It just doesn’t make sense. There should be no reason for iTunes to even put the old keyboard design on your phone when you upgrade to iOS 7.
That’s what Windows did with Windows XP and Windows 7. They kept on loading on 5 year outdated and obsolete libraries and software. It just doesn’t seem like Apple to be so sloppy in their designs. Maybe this is because Apple no longer has an overbearing  boss with an eye for perfection that makes sure everything stays on track.
With Steve no longer with us, this has to be watched carefully by someone who realizes the chaos and turbulence around an inventor/creator is a GOOD thing especially when properly supported. I still think firing Scott Forstall was an epic mistake even if the work place is “easier” with his absence. Without Steve, without Bertrand Serlet, without Scott Forstall, who will be the son-of-a-b*tch who pounds on the table and speaks up when a product is heading dangerously down the path to mediocre. -robertholtz
It seems as if there’s a paradox between Tim Cook firing Forstall and wanting to improve the products Apple creates. With people like Forstall around, things get done. Because he is so demanding people call him a “non-collaborator.” This so-called “non-collaboration” got Forstall fired. But Fortall’s rigid standards for products was also important to delivering things that worked.
Someone might point out that Forstall also messed up the maps software. Well to that I’d have to say this: Didn’t Steve Jobs also get fired from Apple for being disliked by the employees? Didn’t he also have failed products (aka his company NEXT)?
Without people like Steve Jobs or Forstall around to keep the company moving in the right direction at no matter what costs, Apple’s future doesn’t seem too good.
iOS 7 Camera and Photo Library

The new camera app now comes with built in filters. Also you can slide from left to right to switch photo aspect ratios, or even to switch between the camera and the video camera.
As for the photo library: It can now display photos in grouping created by the years or places the photos were taken in.
iOS 7 Multitasking

The new multitasking feature isn’t too interesting. It may look interesting but this is a pretty late feature for Apple to release. Android has had this same exact functionality for years now. In the photo above you can see how the updated multitasking system works. You can basically preview open apps, and you can also swipe up on them to close them.
Conclusion
It seems as if the design of iOS 7 was spurred by no reason. The design was changed merely to change the design. Isn’t that the same thing skeuomorhpic design is? Design based on real-life objects for the sake of design? These new appearance changes may satisfy some customers and geeks out there. But only time will tell if it also satisfies investors.
The work put into iOS 7 isn’t too promising. Hopefully it doesn’t spell a trend for future iPhone and Apple products to come.

Mission:
The mission of Krrb (pronounced curb) is to bring people together around the world through local classifieds. Lifehacker has described the app as a â??love child between Etsy and Craigslist.â?
When you first fire up the Krrb app you can register an account. Then you can use a slider that ranges from Local to World, to find items close by that you want to buy. Krrb uses technology to effectively bring the â??curbâ? online. Thereâ??s no need to physically thrift, scavenge or rummage through local items you want to buy, because itâ??s all at your fingertips with Krrb.
Krrb also has a website (so you donâ??t have to use it only through the app). The benefits about this classifieds community is that it lets you buy local treasures in a safe and trusted environment. It also encourages local commerce and helps everyone save money. If youâ??re moving and want to sell something for top dollar, log onto Krrb. If youâ??re moving and need new furniture, log on to Krrb and browse through all of the items available locally.
Krrb takes no commission and you donâ??t have to ship your products. So itâ??s a really great place for sellers. Buyers benefit from the huge community and variety of products. Â Whereas Craigslists is about jobs, gadgets and many other types of items, Krrb focuses on furniture and household items.
Mission Accomplished
Krrb connects local communities like never before. Even businesses are starting to use it because it provides sellers with so much exposure. Krrb even has an automatic process which takes sellers goods from Etsy, Ebay or Craigslist and posts them to your profile.
Room to improve
While testing this application I was not able to find any glitches or shortcomings. However to post classifieds you need to use credits. Posting items on Krrb costs 1 credit or $1.
Conclusion
If youâ??re tired of sifting through thousands of useless items on Craigslist, or donâ??t want to deal with shipping on Etsy or eBay, then you need to give Krrb a try today. As a buyer it will empower you like never before. As a seller you can gain a lot of exposure really quickly. Itâ??s free and you get 10+ credits to begin with. So what do you have to lose?
Gameplay
The objective of this game is quite simple: shoot a ball at Buster using a slingshot. The closer the ball gets to him, the more points you get. However, thereâ??s one caveat. If your ball touches Buster then it blows up and you donâ??t get any points.
BusterBall is fun because it offers plenty of challenges and levels. For example: you can hit your flying balls off of other objects for extra points. Thereâ??s even an annoying beaver, named Pipes, which gets in the way of your shots.
The best part of this game is its humor. When your balls roll towards Buster you can see his fear (because he would blow up if they touched him). He says absurd yet funny things like â??My ball almost blew up,â? â??That one kissed my butt cheek,â? or â??Did you forget to pay your brain bill?â?
Mission Accomplished
The gameplay of BusterBall has been described as â??Doge Ball with hand grenadesâ? by users. Yet what I can really appreciate about it is its interesting and humorous gameplay. Not to mention the great soundtrack. BusterBall wouldnâ??t be as fun without the interesting remarks of Buster or the accompanying music.
Room to improve
When the camera zooms in onto the slingshot when the level first loads, you can see the dirt path through the grass looks pixelated. It would look better if it was high quality. Other than that I wasnâ??t able to find any glitches or shortcomings while playing Busterball.
Conclusion
If you like games like Angry Birds then youâ??re going to love Busterball. It has tons of great levels and much more are coming soon. Definitely give it a try sometime because for the money you pay, you get back twice as much entertainment value. Not to mention that you can even play online or locally with friends!

The ambulance service is very important in a society as they ensure that they save and protect lives of people daily, no matter their location and time of day when an emergency call is made. They provide effective life saving care in clinical and safe working environment with maximum mobility. But riding an ambulance is not so easy as one thinks. Here in this article we will help you with complete information about ” Frightening Secrets About riding in an Ambulance”.
In your daily life, most of you will be having a good encounter with an ambulance. Let us now see in detail about frightening secrets about riding in an ambulance.
All the emergency departments are not created equal
Ambulance service workers have committed their lives to save lives of others. Whenever they come to you, they have no idea on whether they will get paid to visit or what insurance cover you have and they likely don’t care when someone’s life is a serious danger.
Patients abuse the system
One should remember that it’s very bad to misuse the ambulance emergency system. Because some make prank calls, that are completely no way life threatening at all. For example, some people call 911 because they have no else to talk with. This is very crazy. The ambulance drivers are riding the ambulance at top speed keeping their lives and crew members life in danger to save lives of people who are in real danger. So always never make calls and misuse the ambulance service system. Even some people call the ambulance service if they are suffering from toothache, headache, stomach ache etc.
Ambulance sometimes tend to burst
Well the brand of life saving vehicle, may sometime tend to burst. This is due to the oxygen tanks carried by the majority of EMS units tend to detonate every now and then because they carry all along with them the oxygen tanks with compressed gas to save people life. Ambulance are considered to be one of the safest mode of transportation. The crew members, driver and medical technicians in the EMS unit are unsafe. Not all ambulance service vehicles tend to burst, only in some circumstances they tend to explode. Well the bad news about the ambulance service is that most of the people may get irritated by the ambulance service as they get delayed in going to their work and other important works.
Procedures carried out in ambulance to save life is changing constantly time to time
If a patient who is in danger is brought into the ambulance is not breathing or doesn’t have a pulse, then its time for the medical technician to open the CPR, whereas in earlier time they used to do mouth to mouth breaths to save the life of a person in danger.
The cost of ambulance service may be more than you think
The money you pay to the ambulance driver may vary based on a wide range of factors. This is because it’s the duty of the caller to pay the ambulance crew for making whether the patient’s life is danger or not.
The ambulance service system is designed for serving people whose life is in danger. So never abuse or misuse the system.

The internet is now a big part of our lives and it features in our home, education and working environments.
There is little doubt that our lives have been enhanced since the super information highway has become such a constant feature, but there also a few negatives that have also crept in. We have started to rely on this form of media so much that if it were to disappear overnight, there would probably be a worldwide crisis to contend with. And another one of the major drawbacks of having high quality internet is the rising costs of this luxury. Â This article looks at some options that can reduce the cost of your internet significantly, if this is of concern to you then please read on.
Wardriving!

We love the sound of this slightly geeky term and it conjures up images of hard drives battling it out with each other. Sadly, it is far less exciting than this, but still provides a free option that will save you a buck or two. You simply take your wireless device on the road and scan the area for unsecured home networks. Millions of people are just too lazy to bother setting up a security password for their home network. We donâ??t mind and they wonâ??t be any the wiser as you surf for free as long as you like. Just be a little subtle about this approach and keep it a secret from your buddies, otherwise there will be a scramble for spots outside number 33, and they will soon catch on!
Hotspot Surfing

Get online and check out where the closest hotspots are in your vicinity. There are over 100 million listed on the database and surely one of them is not so far from where you happen to reside. The best place for this information is WeFi, and we love it very much indeed! You may be surprised to learn how â??out of the wayâ?? some of these hotspots are and many of them are not really used to their potential. Just ensure that you avoid any online purchase as these connections will not be encrypted whatsoever!
Smartphone Tethering

This is not an ideal option as there are a few side effects but you will get your information and it will not cost you a bean. You will need to jailbreak your Apple devices and Android needs root access for this option. Your battery life will be compromised and the connection is sluggish, but beggars canâ??t always be choosers!
Cable Connection
You may be surprised to learn that your cable company can probably fix you up with a good connection without any extra cost. If they already supply you with internet, they will also have access to many hotspots that can be accessed via your mobile devices. Simply download the mobile app and start using them for free. The CableWiFi project has been set up to allow access this way to over 100,000 free hotspots nationwide. If your cable company is not a member of this alliance, maybe it is time to switch your supplier.
Saving Money Yet?
These are by no means the only ways to save on your internet and you can do a quick search to check out the other options. Just be careful not to follow any less than legal routes and you should be saving $ in no time at all!
