WeHub is an interesting chat app which allows its users to create 1:1 and group chats with extreme ease. Using this app, users can also connect with people they meet in person and keep in touch without sharing any private information such as a last name, email, or even phone number.
WeHub supports various communication mediums ranging from text, videos, and photos, to self-destructing messages. Sending a video is as quick and spontaneous as holding down the media button and confirming the video before it is sent. Text messages are just as quick and simple, but they have their own features which allow messages to be bolded, have letters randomly scrambled, or set a self-destruct time.
One of the most interesting features with this app, in my personal opinion, is the ability to recall messages before the other party reads them. I have not seen such a feature anywhere else, which is surprising considering that the idea is a very simple one: undo a message someone has not yet read, that you don’t want them to anymore or that they no longer need to read.
How many times have you texted your friend “where are you?” only for them to later open the text and spend time reading it when they could spending it more productively? If that hasn’t happened to you, then I’ll let you know it’s happened to me many times. Because of it, I am definitely nodding my admiration of this feature towards the developing team.
In addition to being able to connect with your contacts and people nearby, WeHub also makes it easy to meet new people in your area. You can even use the search feature at the top of the app to find other people that are into the same activities you enjoy.
Above you can see the instant group chat. The person that will lead the group simply drags their icon to the lead zone, while the person(s) who will join drag their icon to the join zone. Within a few brief moments everyone will have been connected and they can stay in touch indefinitely, even if they move out of the physical range that they met within.
WeHub also has profile pages which can be used to invite users, friend request, or open a current chat you may be having with them.
Mission Accomplished
WeHub knocks the ball out of the park as a spontaneous communication app. It’s not only easy and quick to communicate, but also to connect, which makes this app a must-have for friends, family, and business people alike.
Room to improve
It was not clear at first to me that it’s possible to send text messages by tapping what was only introduced in the app as an icon that is to be held to create videos. Furthermore, after a video is complete, the only way to send it is by hitting “Next” on the preview page of the video. “Next” does not clearly indicate that a simple tap will send the video. “Send,” therefore, would be much more accurate.
Conclusion
WeHub is a free must-have communication app. It mixes the best of communication features many have come to rely on, such as read receipts and the ability to send various forms of media, but also brings something new to the table with its patented Instant Group as well as “recall” message feature.

Wiper is a free app that is available for iOS and Android. It essentially takes the best of WhatsApp and combines it with the privacy features of Snapchat to create something of its own.
Whereas apps like Cryptocat and Cyber Dust are limited to text and photo messages, Wiper is not. This app also doesn’t have an automatic deletion time for received messages. Whereas Snapchat, Cryptocat, and Cyber Dust messages are all deleted after a few seconds or when the app is closed, Wiper leaves it up to users to decide when to wipe their conversation.
Conversation wiping is accomplished by tapping on the desired conversation’s contact, and then tapping the “Wipe Conversation History” button. After confirming a wipe, all history will be removed from your device and your contact’s device, along with any temporary information on Wiper’s servers.
If you’re curious what sort of media Wiper supports sending and receiving, then you’ll be happy to know that it supports virtually everything. In addition to sending text messages and photos, Wiper also allows for sending videos and voice messages, as well as making HD audio calls.
In addition to communicating through Wiper, users can also share YouTube videos with each other as well as favorite videos. Not to mention that Wiper also has its own Bitcoin wallet functionality which makes it easy to accept and send Bitcoins to any other wallet, as well as to any other Wiper user.

Room to improve
On conversation pages, the “call” and “info” buttons are also repeated twice in the user interface. At the top of all conversations there’s two buttons “Free Call” and “Info,” even though there’s a phone icon for making free calls next to the message field of all conversations. Info on a conversation can also be accessed by typing on the contact’s icon.
The “Free Music” section powered by essentially a search bar for YouTube videos is also not quite valuable. Videos can be shared with contacts which goes directly into their YouTube inbox playlist, and videos can also be Favorited. An app such as Wiper which already combines private communication and Bitcoin transactions just doesn’t make sense to also serve “Free Music” for its users. If a contact wants to share a YouTube video with their own contact, they could just copy and paste in a YouTube link as desired.
Conclusion
Wiper has had more than $2.5 million of investing and it shows. Wiper is one of the best apps available for simple and secure communication.

Battery Doctor is a free app which keeps track of your battery power and how long it will last you. However, it goes beyond that simple feature with a few other helpful functions. Consider for example that this app will also estimate how long it will take for your phone to finish charging, alert you when you’re done charging, and keep track of your charging cycles. This not only insures that your battery’s health is maintained, but that you can also sell your phone for a better value with the testimonial that your battery is in good condition.

Battery Doctor also makes it simple to clear your used memory and app storage cache to speed up your phone and make more room on it.
Room to improve
It’s not clear if the memory cleaning and cache clearing is an actual feature of this app, or if it’s just a “placebo.” As far as I know, iOS apps cannot clean the RAM of an iDevice without being jailbroken. Other than that though, this app is completely free and really useful.
Conclusion
If you want to keep track of your battery usage estimates, as well as keeping your battery in good health, then this is a must-have app.

On the surface Storage: Auctions Legends looks really great. It has a free version called “Startup” as well as a paid full version for $1.99. In this game you get to choose storage lots to go to auction for, compete with bidding opponents, and generate fun profits. This game is somewhat similar to a gambling game where you have a certain set of rules that you follow, and you aim to leverage risk versus reward.
To make the game more interesting, the developers added cool boosters which help you compete better. There’s the x-ray glasses, the kick-an-opponent out of bidding, guess the lot’s worth, and extra-large transporter boosts. After you run out of these various boosters, you can purchase them for an extra $0.99.

The music and graphics of this game are really great, as is the content quality and depth of the levels.
Room to improve
The free version of the game doesn’t give you much room for playing before you have to purchase the full version. Also it’s plagued by advertisements to the point where you will accidentally tap a few ads twice every minute. This game literally “tap-baits” users into clicking ads.
Other people who have played the full version of the game agree that even with the $1.99 payment to get the game, you can’t advance very well without spending more money on it.
Conclusion
Unless you plan on spending over $10 on in-app purchases with this auctioning game, then your money is going to be better spent elsewhere.

Pic Jointer is an app that allows you to combine your photos into a single grid image separated by borders. The free version of the app has advertisements and no effect-adding capability. Upgrading to the pro version for $1.99 changes that however.
With this app there’s 64 different layouts of images, some with a single image, others with a grid of two or four images. The best part about each grid layout is that you can adjust the size of each image by dragging the border in or out.
In addition to the individual images be customization via filters, rotations, and reflections, the borders of the collage can be modified as well. Borders can be rounded, increased in size, changed in color, and much more.

The free version doesn’t add a watermark to your images, which is really great. This means that if you add a photo effect to your images using another app, and then use this one to combine them into one grid image, you won’t have to upgrade to the professional version for $1.99.
Room to improve
It would be cool if you could change the individual shape of each border, maybe you’d want one image border to be a circle or triangle instead of a rectangle.
Conclusion
If you want to combine multiple photos into one image, whether it’s for your own art or for sharing with others, then this is the app to do it with.

This app makes it easy to install a VPN profile on your iOS device’s settings. It doesn’t take more than a minute to complete the process, and you don’t even have to keep the app installed to turn on the VPN (iOS will always remember the network settings).

Although this app is nifty, it’s privacy policies are not, since they can use your information as follows:

Conclusion
Although VPN Defender sounds like a great idea to protect your internet traffic because it’s free, it’s far from the truth. This app is basically another threat to your data, and you shouldn’t install it under any circumstance.
Not to mention that the VPN connection is brutally slow and that it’s very difficult for many people to delete this VPN connection from their phone (or to turn it off since it automatically turns itself on should you try to).
