Inkvite

000000289Inkvite is an application created by Eastree Ltd. It is free and available on the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
Inkvite allows you to sign up using Twitter and Facebook and write stories with your friends. You can choose to write a micro sized story that is 1120 characters long, a standard one 1680 characters long, or an epic story 2240 characters long.

Whatâ??s really cool about this app is that you can write your stories with up to three other friends or strangers. You can invite your friends using Twitter or Facebook to help you with your story. In a Micro sized story everyone gets to write a quarter of the story, in a standard story everyone gets to write twice, and in an epic one everyone gets three turns to write.

As soon as youâ??re done with your piece of the story your friends will be alerted so they can finish the next part. But if you donâ??t want to collaborate on your stories you can also do a â??solowriteâ? by yourself.

You can also checkout other peopleâ??s stories, put stories in your shelf, and manage drafts in Inkvite.

Mission Accomplished

While using this application I was impressed with the quality of the user interface and functionality. Inkvite is bound to get you writing and having fun with your friends, and for free too.

Room to improve

I wasnâ??t able to find any shortcomings or glitches in Inkvite.

Conclusion

For a free application Inkvite sure does over deliver. If you’re into writing short stories, or want to try out story collaboration, then this is a great solution. Why not give it a try today?
