REVIEW
Pandora on Samsung TV is the same Music Genome on Bixby.
Same Pandora as on Roku and LG, with Samsung's Bixby voice search and QLED panel rendering. Niche use case, competent execution.

Pandora on Samsung Tizen is the same Pandora as on Roku and LG, with Samsung’s voice-and-platform integration applied. The catalogue is the same, the Music Genome curation is the same, the subscription tiers are the same. Bixby handles direct queries reasonably; the broader experience is the platform-agnostic Pandora app you’d find on any TV.
For Samsung TV owners who specifically want Pandora’s station-radio model in a TV-adjacent listening space, this is a fine install. The free tier’s ad density applies the same way it does on every other platform, and the catalogue’s slow decline against Spotify and Apple Music is the broader category context. Same recommendation as on Roku and LG: install for what it is, don’t expect modernization, accept the brand’s place as a niche radio product in the streaming-music monoculture.
Pandora on Samsung TV is Pandora on Roku with a different voice assistant.
FEATURES
Pandora on Samsung Tizen is the smart-TV-native client of SiriusXM-owned Pandora, identical in catalogue and tier structure to the Roku and LG webOS Pandora apps. Music Genome Project tagging, three subscription tiers (Free / Plus / Premium), and the same station-radio listening model.
Tizen-specific: Bixby voice search for stations and tracks, Samsung TV Plus integration in some regions, and the standard Samsung remote navigation.
See the Roku Pandora review for the longer editorial framing.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Same as Roku and LG variants — Music Genome curation handles niche-genre stations better than algorithm-only competitors, the lean-back TV use case for ambient listening fits naturally.
Bixby voice search works well for direct station queries.
ROOM TO IMPROVE
Same as every other Pandora variant — high free-tier ad density, dated UI, on-demand on TV is awkward, Pandora's broader brand decline against Spotify and Apple Music continues.
CONCLUSION
See the Roku Pandora review. On Samsung Tizen, install if you specifically prefer Pandora's station model and your TV-adjacent listening space wants a Samsung-platform-integrated music app. Free tier is the right tier; Premium doesn't add TV-relevant value.
