BouncePlus turned up on the Samsung TV store at the end of March 2026 with the kind of channel page that gives a reviewer almost nothing to react to. No description. No screenshots. No rating. A free sports app from a publisher called Bounce Multimedia LLC, an icon, a category tag, and that’s the entire surface area.
That isn’t, on its own, evidence of a bad app. Samsung’s Tizen store has always tolerated bare-bones listings from small publishers, and plenty of competent sports channels have launched with thin metadata and filled it in over the following quarter. But it does mean a viewer browsing the Sports rail has no real way to know what BouncePlus carries — which sport, which league, which content library, whether anything plays without an account, whether the catalogue is regional. The store page won’t tell you any of that.
The honest read on a launch like this is that BouncePlus is either weeks away from a real store-page pass, or it isn’t being marketed to TV viewers at all and is meant to be installed by people who already know the brand from somewhere else. Either way, the Tizen listing as it stands in May 2026 doesn’t make the case for itself.
BouncePlus shipped on Tizen with the kind of bare store page that asks viewers to take the install on faith.
FEATURES
BouncePlus is a free Samsung TV (Tizen) channel in the Sports category from a publisher listed as Bounce Multimedia LLC. The Tizen store page went live on 30 March 2026 and was last updated by the developer on 15 April 2026.
Beyond that, the store listing is unusually thin. There is no long description, no short description, no screenshot strip, no rating yet, and no review count. The only assets on the page are the channel icon and the category tag. For a Tizen viewer browsing the Sports rail, that's the entire pre-install footprint.
Pricing is straightforward — free, with no listed in-app purchase tier on the store side. Whether the app gates content behind an account, a subscription, or a paywall once launched isn't disclosed in the metadata.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
Shipping at all on Tizen is the first win, and it's not a trivial one for a small independent publisher. Samsung's certification process for new sports channels takes months, and Bounce Multimedia got through it in a window that suggests the team has done TV-platform work before.
Listing the channel as free, with no in-app purchase flag set, lowers the install bar to nothing. For a Sports channel from an unknown brand, that's the right opening posture.
ROOM TO IMPROVE
The store page is the problem. A Sports channel that arrives on Tizen without a description, without screenshots, and without a single line of marketing copy is asking viewers to install blind. Samsung's TV store doesn't surface much past the rail tile, so the icon and the channel name are doing all the work. That isn't enough to compete with the dozens of established sports apps already on Tizen.
The empty listing is fixable. A 200-word description, three or four screenshots of the actual playback UI, and a one-line statement of what sport, league, or content library BouncePlus carries would change the channel's standing overnight. Until that lands, the smart move for Samsung TV owners is to wait for a few reviews to appear before committing to the install.
CONCLUSION
BouncePlus is too new and too lightly documented to recommend with confidence, but it's free and it's live. Curious Samsung TV owners can install at zero cost and see what the channel actually does — and the developer has a clear path to a much higher score the moment the store page gets the basic editorial pass it currently lacks. Watch this one for an update.
