3 Reasons Contract Phones Beat PAYG

With so many contracts around to choose from it can be difficult to find the right one. And after wading through the details of so many people will begin to wonder why they should bother with a contract at all.

Those who regularly use their phone will find that they are much better off on a contract. These often have plenty of call minutes and text messages included as part of the deal so that there are no extra charges unless you go over the set number for each of these. This way costs can be kept low and the user will not need to worry about running out of minutes or money, which is always the danger with a pay as you go mobile.

Upgrades

Contract phones are also great for making sure that you can keep up to date with the market. The mobile phone market is changing all the time and manufacturers regularly bring out new handsets. This can be hard to see when they cost a few hundred pounds each to buy and you feel as though you are stuck with your outdated model. However, with a contract phone you can upgrade your handset when the contract runs out and you can often get some of the latest models free of charge if you are prepared to commit to a new contract.

Budgeting

A contract phone also makes it much easier to manage your budget. There is a set monthly fee for the phone and you agree to this for a set period of time. It can be 12, 18 or 24 months. You only pay more than this amount if you go over your minutes or free texts or if you use services that are not included as part of your contract.

Most contracts will also allow you a certain amount of time using online services such as internet and email and this can be a problem for heavy users if the data usage is low on the contract as there will be charges. If you think you are going to use online services quite a bit then you need to look for a contract that allows unlimited data usage.

Choice!!!

As there are so many contract providers to choose from, you need to look carefully at what everyone is offering. You can be sure that they will all tell you that their deals are the best, but each one is different and what suits one person will not necessarily suit another. Make sure that there are no hidden extras included such as insurance and be sure that you know what you are signing up for before you sign anything.

The last thing you need is to get a contract believing that you get 500 minutes a month only to discover when it is too late that the contract only provides 100 minutes. For most people, a contract deal is the best way to go and with the variety of handsets on offer, you can be sure that once you have found the deal for you, you will not be disappointed.
